I spent most of yesterday afternoon and some of this morning sitting here watching the news of the Canterbury earthquake.
It's heartbreaking to watch. Too many lives lost, so many people still trapped, injured, without their homes.
Events like this make day to day life seem so trivial but at the same time the baby still needs fed and changed and to sleep. I am so grateful that my family are safe and well and I am trying to work out what I can do to help.

My thoughts are with everyone that has been affected by this. Stay strong Canterbury - the whole of NZ and further afield are thinking of you and praying for you.
