Review: Cushie Tushies Cloth Nappies

We use a mixture of disposable and reusable nappies for my baby boy. 

We tend to use disposables at night or if we are going out for longer than a couple of hours and use reusables during the day at home.

It works well for us as it allows us to save some money and feel like we are making a lesser impact on the environment whilst not having to wash nappies every single day.

Recently I have been given the opportunity to review a cloth nappy via Kiwi Mummy Blogs.

The nappy is a Cushie Tushie Basix from Scamps Boutique.

We have had the chance to use this nappy a few times now and so far haven't had any leaks which is great (although we have only tested it wet and not dirty yet!). I love the feel of the minky layer - it's so soft and cuddly! And the nappy seems well constructed.
The pop-out layer makes rinsing, washing and drying easy and it's a breeze to pop it back in.
Baby seems comfortable wearing it.
When it first arrived I did wonder if the minky layer would make him too hot but I've not noticed that he has been too hot or uncomfortable when wearing it.
I would feel happy recommending this nappy. Also, if you haven't tried reusables yet but want to give them a go this could be a great one to start with :-) Especially given that Scamps Boutique has an offer available at the moment to get $4.00 off!
