My baby boy will be 1 year old in just over a month...crazy :-)
Part of the celebrations include a joint birthday party with all the babies from our antenatal class. The party is taking place midway between all the birthdays so it falls mid July.
I've been busy making a decoration and party favours for the babies...
I got the idea of a garland from Pinterest (of course)...
I printed photos of each of the babies from our group and cut out their faces. I then added a triangle hat with a punched circle and a '1' sticker to decorate and a little bit of fibrous (is that the right word?!) ribbon along the bottom of each hat. I'm going to string them all together with masking tape so they can easily be removed and taken home after the party if people wish.
In fact I picked a piece of scrapbook paper for each baby so they each had their own pattern.
I used the paper to decorate noodle boxes as party bags/favours. I also printed smaller pictures and cut out their faces for the boxes. The opposite side has a punched circle with their name written on it.
And do you know how hard it is to find 1 year old safe party favours?! In the end I've gone with baby mum-mums (rice crackers which look like surfboards!), a box of raisins, a small rubber duck and a small bottle of blowing bubbles in each box.
Fingers crossed the babies and their parents like them :-)
Linking up with our creative spaces.
